Welcome to SuzyShack, where we make creative food from simple ingredients.
All our preserves, jams, marmalades and pickles are made by hand in our home kitchen in Wivenhoe, Essex, embracing as much seasonal and local produce as possible.
I was taught by my mum who, like me, hated waste and always used as many seasonal ingredients as she could – and preferable ones she grew herself.
We grow some of our veggies, and that’s how SuzyShack started – a glut of beetroot and apple led to our Beetroot & Apple chutney being made. It’s still one of our most popular and is used by The Black Buoy to accompany cheese.
